It's lovely to go and park up at the layby. Take some lunch and look over the lock. Used by many to walk there dogs it's a nice 10minute walk with plenty of Bench's and seats along the way. The ducks and geese make fun for the kids too with a small open grass area to kick a ball about if you like. Grass isn't cut every week so sometimes it can be too long.
