Lovely walks , its just a pity people couldnt clean up after their dogs .
Great place for a dander or a run, I was amazed at how quite it was today. Some fantastic views, great fun for the kids, especially if the Peatlands Puffer is running :-) Toilet facilities are available and I would highly recommend visiting this place for it's Apple Festival and other such events, great family events and fantastic staff.
Great for runners who run with their dogs
Really nice place for a walk. Plenty of room to explore and run around. Anyone interested in nature or the outdoors would enjoy it. Kids loved the ducks and watching dragonflies, butterflies and caterpillars. Just a pity the train wasn't running. Lovely, sunny, hot day in the middle of summer holidays with plenty of families about, missing a trick. Also the main toilets were out of order due to "technical difficulties" but they have a couple of portaloos and accessible toilet was open.
Good park for a walk and picnic. Plenty of seating and picnic areas. Wear insect repellent during summer months as there is a high chance of getting bitten or stung
